As the principal of this school since 2020, I am thrilled to lead such a diverse and dynamic school community. I am incredibly proud of the way we value and celebrate diversity and inclusion here at our school.
One of our strengths is our commitment to communication with families. We believe that strong partnerships between home and school are critical to the success of our students. We also use student data and evidence to drive improvement across the school.
Our WHIN program, OT support, teacher collective efficacy and support of students with disabilities are just some of the ways we ensure that every student has access to the support they need to succeed, thrive and grow. Our school culture has been building, which is evident by the increasing enrolments we are seeing and the regular positive feedback we recieve from parents, community members and staff.
In particular, I am proud to say that we have received exceptional feedback from the school community on the leadership of the school. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our experienced leadership team and passionate public education teachers.
In our classrooms, we focus on explicit teaching of phonics, decodable readers, differentiated mathematics, and wellbeing. Our aim is to provide our students with a well-rounded education that prepares them for the challenges of the future.
